Reading - learning the 'ee' sound

In  Room 12 for reading we have been learning the 'ee' sound.  We discovered that there are six different ways the 'ee' sound can be represented!
Here they are:- e, ee, ea, ei, ie, y.

This is Alex showing all the 'ee' words that she could find in her reader 'Red Rattlers'.
A  job well done by all the children that had this task :-) .

  1. Way to go, Alex! Knowing all those ways of writing the long ee sound will help with both reading and spelling. You're awesome :)
