Counties Manukau Hockey
We are lucky enough to have four quality sessions of teaching and practicing hockey skills with the crew from Counties Manukau Hockey. We have had two sessions to date and it has been a hit with Room 12.

Te Reo Maori - introduction to all the sounds through waiata (song)
Today we practiced a song to help us practice all the sounds that make up the Maori language. We broke into five groups and allocated them one of the five vowels. The Challenge? Who would sing their section of the song the loudest!

| Using post it notes, we created a pictograph of the pets owned in Room 12. We have begun brainstorming who would find this information useful and why and tomorrow we will analyse what this information is telling us :-). |
