A number of jumpers have been misplaced in this crazy weather. Could you please check your child's jumper and make sure it is theirs, as well as label any school clothing please. This would be a great help thanks.

Room 12 watched 'pep talk' from Kid President. He said "If everything is awesome then everyone will just want to dance". Room 12 think they are awesome, which they are!! So here is a video of us dancing...

Financial literacy

We were super lucky to have a special visitor come in and talk to us about money and how to save. His name was P.T, but we also got to see Cave Man, Captain Money Pants and Dj Dollar Bill.

"Speak up, stand up, stop bullying"

Room 12 thought it would be a great opportunity to support this event by understanding the true definition of it. 

We learnt that bullying is a deliberate continuous act which can be verbal, social or physical. It can also be through technology which is called cyber bullying.

We also learnt how to deal with bullying if it happens at school. We know that we need to use signal sam. 

To make this week very exciting and for us to be positive the school decided to have a random act of kindness day. Room 12 have a star wall of kindness acts that we have achieved. Come check it out!

Week 2 Term 2

What a FANTASTIC week this. Our trip to the Auckland Domain and the Art Exhibition was super awesome. Despite the weather we learnt a lot and also got to go to the Museum. Here are some photos of our trip. A BIG thank you to the wonderful parents who came along. We couldn't have done it without you!

 

 

 

Term 2 Week 1

Wow what an fantastic week room 12 has had. Although it was sad to say goodbye to our one and only Mrs Honey, we got to meet our new teacher Miss M.

Room 12 got to have a special shared lunch to say goodbye to Mrs Honey. Here our some awesome photos of our shared lunch.

During Maths we were lucky enough to use some of Miss M's fun resources. Some of the activities were a bit challenging but that didn't stop us. We used our initiative to solve the problems we faced by asking our peers or looking around the classroom to find the answers.

I hope you have had an amazing holiday break!

I would like to say a big hi to my new class. I know you are all amazing students who work really hard. Mrs Honey has told me what fantastic learners you all are. I know you ALWAYS try your BEST and follow the school PB4L focus each week.
